Bio

Dr. Zhao joined Marist community in 2017. He has previously worked for Research Foundation of SUNY, doing biomedical research. He has also worked in surface chemistry field for some years.

Education

PhD  Physical and Analytical Chemistry, Syracuse University, New York
MS  Imaging Science, Rochester Institute of Technology, New York
MS  Biochemistry, Adelphi University, New York
BS  Physical chemistry, Shanxi University, China
Studied polymer chemistry for one year at Polytechnic University of New York

Research Interest

His current research interest focus on vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) spectroscopy and chemical imaging. He uses VCD spectroscopy and chemical imaging technique to study bio-samples, such as eye-lens crystallin, pharmaceutical molecules etc.
